Cramer’s Park is on the east end of St. Croix and is very popular with locals. It’s a great beach for those who want to get away from large crowds and “touristy” areas. Luckily, even though it’s more “isolated,” you’ll still find bathrooms and changing rooms here. On weekdays it might not be too crowded, but on weekends local families will come here for picnics and barbecues – expect loud music! If you do visit, be sure to take advantage of some of the picnic tables which can be used by anyone who gets there first.
You will be able to see the outline of Buck Island in the distance, which is certainly very neat to view. It’s also a good spot for snorkeling. Locals advise stopping here on the way to Point Udall, which is the easternmost point of St. Croix. If you get hungry during your stay, consider stopping at the Good Spirits restaurant, which is just a short drive (or walk of a little over a mile, if you’re feeling up to it) away.
