Jost Van Dyke is the smallest of the British Virgin Islands and home to the Great Harbor Beach.
Unlike in the other British Virgin Islands, life in the Great Harbor is buzzy with excitement. There are so many activities onshore and very many places that you can visit. Getting to the shore is not difficult. You can easily do so in your dinghy although you have to be a bit mindful of the waters.
The island is lined with a variety of bars and restaurants as well as grocery stores and other stalls. If you are visiting Great Harbor, be sure to make a stop at Foxy’s, one of the world’s most infamous beach bars. There are a variety of parties at Foxy’s as well as some great food and music.
While there are anchoring points on the beach, most of them are either hard to spot or are private. This makes it a bit difficult when anchoring yachts.
The numerous shops and stores on the beach are sure going to fascinate you. So make sure you buy one or two items to remind you of the lovely Great Harbor.
