#1. Homemade skin bronzer

To get your skin to have that sun-kissed glow without spending hours in the sun, then try making your own bronzing lotion. Just add some of your bronzer or shimmering eye-shadow in your body lotion. It will get your entire glowing under the sun. Remember, midday, especially during summer, is the best time to get sunlight. At noon, the sun is at its highest point, and its UVB rays are most intense. That means you need less time in the sun.

#2. Stop sunburn 

After a day of being in the sun, you may come back with a case of sunburn. To deal with the heat, and sting, soak a couple of black tea bags in water. When the water has darkened, put the wet tea bags on the burnt area of the skin for about 20 minutes. This will help alleviate the heat and pain, and leave your skin glowing.

#3. Dealing with bikini rash 

When wearing a bikini to the beach, especially when you haven’t worn a bikini for a while, you could get some bikini rash. To deal with this place cold chamomile teabags on the rash and leave for a few minutes.

#4. Save time, shave less and reduce razor bumps

The sun and sea water can leave your hair dry. You can use an avocado mask for your hair to get it to look good and healthy. Crush an avocado, mix in a tablespoon of lemon and olive oil. Apply the mixture to the hair and leave it for about 20 minutes and then rinse off. This will leave your hair feeling soft and looking shiny and healthy.

#6. DIY face mist

The secret to having a dewy, healthy looking face is a great face mist that keeps the skin hydrated. You will need this in the hot Caribbean sun. Make your own face mist with green tea. Steep a bag of green tea in cold water for a couple of hours. You can then decant the tea into a spritzer bottle and keep it cool in a refrigerator. Use the face mist throughout the day to cool and refresh your skin. The antioxidants in the green tea are also good for keeping your skin healthy and glowing.
